The Rotorua SALDA is situated in Rotorua. Rotorua is known for being the North Islands adventure capital and is the ideal setting for these courses. The Kaituna* River in Rotorua has the highest rafted waterfall in the world. Each course will be invited to accept the challenge that this unique river has to offer. Some courses will be ready to accept the challenge, with some courses not ready, which one will you be? Learning how to self guide the raft coupled with contemporary leadership theory (360 Feedback and Hogan Personality Assessments) is the unique flagship course for Strategic Self Awareness Ltd.

  • Real risk - Utilising rafting to enhance your learning by creating real risk situations that put you outside your comfort zone to increase learning from points of reflection and feedback.
  • Participants will be put into complex and ambiguous environments with only recently gained knowledge to succeed. This unique ingredient can expose participants on how they make decisions, deal with stress and interact with others.
  • Social risk - The contemporary leadership theory sessions will help you understand your behaviours and expose your strengths and weaknesses through discussions. Course content can include the key tools of the Leadership Benchmark 360 feedback from your workplace, Hogan Personality Assessments, self-and-peer feedback and finally purposeful designed workplace strategies.

This beautifully designed five or six-day** course over has a deliberate mix of ingredients in an intimate environment away from the workplace. This combination has been proven through research to help create a greater level of self-awareness, which equals a more enjoyable workplace and increased work profit.
